THE WOODLANDS: Affiliated Mortgage Company – Home Loan Division of Benchmark Bank is proud to become the title sponsor of the 2014 Thanksgiving Classic held at The Woodlands High School November 28-29 as some of the area’s top teams do battle in the two-day event.
The new Platinum sponsor is happy to host the two-day event with a few of VYPE Preseason Top 20 schools peppered in the field. The Woodlands, Manvel, Travis and Klein Forest headline the tournament, while Hastings, Austin Bowie, Elsik, Chavez, Tomball Memorial, Mayde Creek, Klein Collins and San Marcos round out the field.
“This is a tremendous field again this year as we bring big-time basketball to the north side of Houston,” Highlander coach Dale Reed said. “There will be playoff teams and athletes who will play at the next level in our gyms during that weekend.”
