Malatesta Named Houston’s No. 1 Mortgage Banker by Mortgage Executive Magazine
HOUSTON: Kelly Malatesta of Affiliated Mortgage, a division of Benchmark Bank, has been ranked as the No. 1 mortgage advisor in the Greater Houston-area in units and volume by Mortgage Executive Magazine.
Based in The Woodlands, Texas, Malatesta tallied over $113 million over 430 loans in 2012. She ranks as the fourth leading broker in the state of Texas and is No. 91 overall in the United States.
“We have a tremendous team that focuses on customer service and providing the most aggressive programs and rates to reach the Houston market,” Malatesta said, who has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years. “The mortgage climate in Houston is competitive, so we pride ourselves on treating our clients like family. That’s what makes us successful.”
Malatesta was at J.P. Morgan Chase for 16 years, before leading Affiliated Mortgage Company since 2009. She is featured on KSEV AM700 on a weekly basis.
